Lilian is a Sustainability Strategist at Futerra, a change agency with a mission to make sustainability so desirable it becomes normal. In this role, she helps companies set bold sustainability visions for the change they want to lead and develop the roadmap to deliver.
Prior to this, Lilian managed Partnerships & UN Relations at the UN Global Compact. At the UN, she worked with companies to advance sustainability and built connections and opportunities between UN and business to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on the fashion sector.
Lilian co-founded the sustainable fashion e-commerce Fauna, based in Brazil. In China, she helped launch the sustainable fashion movement together with environmental NGO Redress that works to minimize textile waste in the fashion industry. She also worked on projects for Social Accountability International focused on human rights and labor issues in global supplychains.
She has an MPA from New York University and is originally from Gothenburg, Sweden. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, French, English and Swedish.
