Evelyn Mora is a 27-years old Finnish entrepreneur and consultant, the Founder of Helsinki Fashion Week. Graduated as a product developer and service designer she is currently working as a consultant on brand strategies, communication and sustainable development for international corporations and for the Ministry of Environment of Finland. She gained industry recognition through her extraordinary results and game-changing visions noted “Multi-Talented”, “Genious and Tenacious” by Vogue Italia and “Game changer” by Glamour South Africa. Evelyn is an internationally recognized spokesperson for the sustainable and circular fashion industry featured in Forbes, Vogue Magazines, Dezeen, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, WWD among others.
Evelyn has been working with companies such as Tesla, VTT Technical Research Institute, European Space Agency and Fashion For Good. She lectures at top industry events and Universities including IED Milano, FashionSustain, WGSN, St.Petersburg University of Technology and Heriot-Watt University.
Mora helped build the market value of HFW to millions of Euros in only a few of years, and made Helsinki the capital for sustainability in fashion by piloting the circular EcoVillage-concept that was noted as the “Most Progressive Event” by The Independent UK in 2018 and “by far the most provocative and promising platform” by Forbes USA in 2019.
Evelyn has currently sold Helsinki Fashion Week and will remain as a shareholder and member of the board acting also as a consultant for the LTD. Evelyn is currently working as a consultant and finalizing her book “The Trouble Maker by Evelyn Mora” to be launched late 2020
